As an agency for trade fair construction, we contribute to fostering creative forces that support circular solutions. The modular, DYNAMIC, FUSION, and PULSE Smart Spaces are based on the three principles of the circular economy as defined by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.

This transformation is supported by our goal, which is to achieve closed-loop material cycle. We are careful to only source 100 percent recycled materials, or ones that are 100 percent recyclable. That way we avoid waste right from the start and, hence, the need to keep extracting new materials from Nature.

Because our modular FRAME system can be reused often, we also reduce production work and emissions. Furthermore, we compute the relevant emissions produced along the value chain for the duration of the project to continuously minimize our emissions profile. The two main control parameters to assess emissions are:

To objectively assess the ecological impact of NEXT CIRCULAR materials, we maintain a database that evaluates each ID MATERIAL according to 26 criteria. These go beyond just recyclability. They provide information on the materials’ physical composition, the ecological impact, origin, and logistics. The indicators can then be transferred to a life-cycle analysis of a project in order to generate an emissions profile.  This allows us to precisely and transparently identify optimization areas when collaborating with our partners.

NEXT CIRCULAR is a collaborative project that is based on a systemic design concept. Zoom in / Zoom out. This innovative project could only be implemented thanks to joint and continuous coordination within the transdisciplinary design team and constant assessment of every step of the system.
